WILHELM AUTOMOTIVE DONATES TO SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS
Wilhelm Automotive, a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop, has again offered their support to Eve's Place, a local non profit that serves domestic violence victims, through a donation of household goods.
Wilhelm Automotive has been a strong supporter of Eve's Place for several years. Their recent donation of a large-screen television, VCR and family movies was given in hopes of providing domestic violence victims a small source of relaxation entertainment in their lives.
Wilhelm Automotive had previously donated a portion of its automotive repair sales to assist Eve's Place. Following this promotion, Wilhelm was able to present Eve's Place with a donation of $1,400 to support their programs and services.
"Wilhelm Automotive has strong ties to the communities around our shops, and we are proud to continue to serve organizations like Eve's Place that make such a difference those who need their services," said Chris Garman, Wilhelm Automotive General Manager.
Eve's Place began its operation as a non profit in 2005, and serves victims of domestic violence in Surprise, Arizona and surrounding areas. The mission of Eve's Place is to provide safety and empowerment based programs to victims of domestic violence. Eve's Places services offer emergency shelter and a variety of support groups for victims.
"Eve's Place is honored by Wilhelm's support and donation. It's the thoughtfulness of community businesses like theirs that keep our victims safe," said Eve's Place President Velda King.
